South Side Roller Derby is a women's sports and fitness organization that unites women from diverse backgrounds to get fit and train for roller derby, dance on skates, and outdoor skating.
It is the only roller derby league in Texas that features both banked track and flat track play. South Side is one of just eight roller derby leagues worldwide that includes banked track competition. The organization aims to make both banked and flat track roller derby accessible while promoting women's sports and fitness for adults and teens.
Since 2006, South Side Roller Derby has provided a safe space for women to learn to skate, guided by female trainers.

Dedicated to empowering female sports and youth development, they provide the vital infrastructure, marketing, and operational support that keeps our skating clubs sustainable, funded, and thriving. By handling the business hurdles, they ensure our Roller girls can focus entirely on training, competing, and having fun!
